Typhus
Typhus is an infectious disease transmitted by vectors
such as lice, ticks, mites, and rat fleas. It causes an
itchy purple rash, severe headaches, and a high fever.
These types of diseases were common at concentration
camps such as the one Anne and Margot were at. This was
because it was so dirty. However, it's curable today. So don't
worry about getting Typhus anytime in your life; only 1 in
every 100,000 people have even the slightest chance to get it.
